DocuSign is the leading e-signature platform. When a verbal agreement happens on a DialNexa call - a sale closed, a contract discussed, a proposal accepted - DialNexa can trigger a DocuSign signature request immediately, while the momentum is still there. No delay, no manual step, no waiting for a rep to follow up with the document.
This integration is most powerful in high-velocity sales or service workflows where the gap between verbal agreement and signed document is where deals go cold. DialNexa closes that gap.

What this integration does

DialNexa connects to DocuSign through the DocuSign eSignature API. After a call, DialNexa can:
  • Send a signature request for a specific DocuSign template to the caller’s email address
  • Pre-fill template fields with information captured during the call - name, company, address, agreement terms, or custom fields
  • Track signing status - check whether a document has been signed and use that as a trigger for next steps
  • Void or cancel envelopes when a caller changes their mind or conditions change
  • Retrieve signed documents and log or store them in connected systems

When to use DialNexa with DocuSign

Sales contract close - a prospect verbally agrees to move forward on a call. DialNexa sends the contract via DocuSign before the rep even hangs up. The prospect gets the signature request in their inbox while they’re still in buying mode. Service agreements - for home services, legal, financial, or healthcare providers that confirm services by phone, DialNexa can dispatch a DocuSign agreement immediately after the caller says yes - terms, scope, and pricing pre-filled from the call. Lease and rental agreements - property managers who qualify tenants over the phone can trigger DocuSign lease agreements the moment the tenant confirms they want the property. Consent and authorization forms - when a caller gives verbal consent to a service, treatment, or data processing, DialNexa sends a DocuSign consent form to make the agreement formal and documented. Amendment signatures - when an existing customer calls to agree to a price change, scope adjustment, or contract renewal, DialNexa can send the amendment via DocuSign within seconds of the call ending.

What DialNexa does with DocuSign

Envelope dispatch

Sends a DocuSign signature request to the caller’s email immediately after the call - with the right document template and pre-filled fields.

Field pre-filling

Populates DocuSign template fields with data captured during the call - so the signer only needs to review and sign, not fill in their own details.

Signing status checks

Checks whether a previously sent DocuSign envelope has been signed - useful for follow-up calls or automated next-step triggers.

Envelope management

Voids or cancels envelopes when the call outcome changes - for example, if a prospect backs out after an envelope was already sent.

Setting up the integration

In your DialNexa agent workflow, add a DocuSign action after the call. You’ll configure:
  1. DocuSign API credentials - your DocuSign integration key and OAuth credentials (set up once in DialNexa integrations)
  2. Template selection - which DocuSign template to use for each workflow (you create templates in DocuSign ahead of time)
  3. Signer details - the caller’s name and email, captured during the call or from a pre-call CRM lookup
  4. Field pre-fill mapping - which DocuSign template fields map to which DialNexa call variables
  5. Send conditions - optional rules so the envelope only fires when specific conditions are met (e.g., only send the contract when call_outcome = verbal_agreement)
  6. Notification - optional Slack or email alert when the envelope is sent and when it’s signed

Workflow ideas

Your agent handles a sales call. The prospect says they want to move forward. The agent confirms the key terms - pricing, duration, scope - and ends the call. Within 30 seconds, the prospect receives a DocuSign request with the contract pre-filled with everything they confirmed. They sign from their phone. The deal is closed before they’ve left their desk. The rep gets a Slack notification when the envelope is signed.
A homeowner calls to book a service - HVAC installation, solar panels, pest control, roofing. They agree to the service terms on the call. DialNexa sends the service agreement via DocuSign immediately - name, address, service type, and price pre-filled. The homeowner signs before the field team is even dispatched. Disputes about what was agreed are eliminated.
Your agent calls a customer ahead of contract renewal. They agree to renew. DialNexa triggers the DocuSign renewal agreement immediately after the call - pre-filled with the updated terms and pricing confirmed on the call. The customer signs the renewal before they’ve had a chance to reconsider or shop alternatives.
An envelope was sent three days ago and hasn’t been signed. DialNexa calls the signer, asks if they’ve had a chance to review, addresses any questions, and either resolves objections or (if the deal is back on) re-sends the DocuSign with updated terms. Automated follow-up on unsigned documents without a rep manually tracking every open envelope.

Pairing DocuSign with other integrations

  • DocuSign + Salesforce - when a DocuSign envelope is sent from a call, update the Salesforce Opportunity stage to “Contract Sent” and create a task to follow up if unsigned after 48 hours
  • DocuSign + HubSpot - log the DocuSign send as a deal activity in HubSpot and move the deal to the right stage when the document is signed
  • DocuSign + Slack - notify the rep or legal team in Slack when an envelope is sent and again when it’s signed
  • DocuSign + Gmail - if the caller prefers a different email for the signature request, DialNexa can capture it during the call and route the DocuSign to the right address
  • DocuSign + Google Drive - store signed DocuSign PDFs automatically in the client’s Google Drive folder after completion

Common questions

Yes. You can add conditions to the DocuSign action - for example, send Template A for new customers and Template B for renewals, or send different contracts based on the product or service discussed on the call.
DocuSign templates have named fields (tabs) that can be pre-populated via the API. In your DialNexa workflow, you map each DocuSign field name to a DialNexa variable - the caller’s name, company, agreed price, start date, and so on. The envelope arrives pre-filled and ready to sign.
If no email is available, the DocuSign action can be configured to skip sending the envelope and instead create a task for a rep to follow up manually with the document. Alternatively, the agent can ask for the email at the end of the call before triggering the DocuSign.
Yes. DialNexa can query the DocuSign API for the status of a specific envelope and use that as a trigger condition - for example, only proceed with a particular workflow step if the envelope status is “completed.”
DialNexa also integrates with other e-signature platforms. If you use a different provider, check the integrations catalog for your specific tool.
