What this integration does
DialNexa connects to Gmail through Google OAuth. After a call, DialNexa can:- Send emails from your connected Gmail account to the caller’s email address
- Draft emails into Gmail for a rep to review and send, rather than auto-sending
- Log sent emails to your CRM (via HubSpot, Salesforce, or other connected tools)
- Thread into existing conversations if the caller’s email is part of an active Gmail thread
- Attach documents or links referenced during the call (Calendly link, proposal URL, meeting notes)
When to use DialNexa with Gmail
Post-call recap - the agent handled the call and promised to send a summary. DialNexa writes and sends a plain-language recap of what was discussed, what was agreed, and what the next step is - tailored to what actually happened on the call. Proposal or document delivery - when a prospect asks for pricing, a proposal, or specific documentation during the call, DialNexa can send it immediately after the call ends rather than waiting for a rep to action it. Appointment confirmation - after booking a meeting on the call, DialNexa sends an email confirmation with the date, time, and what to prepare - reinforcing the booking and reducing no-shows. Demo or callback follow-up - when a prospect can’t talk now but wants to continue later, DialNexa sends a short email while the conversation is still fresh: “Great speaking with you, here’s what we covered, here’s the link to book when you’re ready.” Missed call notification - when DialNexa couldn’t reach someone, it sends an email to the caller’s address to let them know, provide context, and give them a way to respond or book a time. What DialNexa sends via Gmail

Setting up the integration
In your DialNexa agent workflow, add a Gmail action at the end of the call - or triggered by specific outcomes. You’ll configure:- Gmail connection - Google OAuth connected to the sending Gmail account
- To address - typically the caller’s email, captured during the call as a DialNexa variable
- From address - the rep’s Gmail account or a shared team inbox
- Subject and body - email template using DialNexa variables like
{{caller_name}},{{call_summary}},{{booking_link}}, and{{next_step}} - Send vs. draft - choose whether to send immediately or draft for rep review
- Conditions - only send if certain call outcomes are met (e.g., only send the recap email if the caller provided their email address)

Pairing Gmail with other integrations
- Gmail + HubSpot - sent emails are logged as activities on the HubSpot contact, so the entire post-call sequence is visible in the CRM timeline
- Gmail + Salesforce - email sends log to the Salesforce Activity timeline, keeping the full communication history on the Opportunity
- Gmail + Google Calendar - after a meeting is booked, Gmail sends the confirmation; if the meeting is rescheduled, Gmail sends the updated details
- Gmail + Slack - when a high-priority email is sent (e.g., a proposal to an enterprise prospect), Slack notifies the rep or manager
- Gmail + Calendly - the post-call email includes the Calendly link so the prospect can self-schedule at their own pace after the call
