Zoom is where most video meetings happen. When DialNexa books a meeting on a call - a demo, a discovery call, a consultation, a check-in - it can create the Zoom meeting and send both parties the invite link immediately, so there’s no back-and-forth about how to connect.
Use this integration when your team conducts meetings over Zoom and you want the video meeting link generated automatically as part of the booking flow, rather than as a manual step after the call.

What this integration does

DialNexa connects to Zoom through the Zoom API. After booking a meeting on a call, DialNexa can:
  • Create a Zoom meeting - scheduled at the agreed time with a title, description, and the right host
  • Generate a Zoom join link for the attendee and a host link for the rep
  • Send the invite to the caller via email (with the Zoom link included) or embed it in a calendar invite
  • Create an instant meeting link when the caller needs to speak with a human right away rather than scheduling
  • Look up existing Zoom meetings to confirm details or send reminder links

When to use DialNexa with Zoom

Demo and discovery call booking - when a prospect agrees to a video demo during a DialNexa call, the Zoom meeting is created immediately. The rep gets a host link, the prospect gets a join link in their calendar invite. The meeting is set before the call ends. Consultation scheduling - for professional services (legal, financial, medical, consulting), DialNexa books the consultation and creates the Zoom meeting so the caller has everything they need to show up. Callback as a video call - when a caller requests to speak with a human, DialNexa can create an instant or scheduled Zoom meeting rather than a phone callback - useful for cases where screen sharing or a face-to-face interaction will help resolve the issue faster. Webinar follow-up meetings - after a webinar, DialNexa calls attendees to offer personalized follow-up Zoom calls. The meeting is booked and created in one step. Internal meeting coordination - when a DialNexa call surfaces an issue that requires a cross-functional meeting, DialNexa can create the Zoom invite with the relevant stakeholders included.

What DialNexa creates in Zoom

Scheduled meetings

Creates a Zoom meeting at the agreed date and time, with host and attendee links, a title, and agenda pre-filled from call context.

Instant meeting links

Generates an instant Zoom meeting link when a caller needs to connect with a human immediately - no scheduling required.

Meeting confirmations

Returns the Zoom join URL as a DialNexa variable, so it can be included in follow-up texts, emails, or calendar invites sent from the same workflow.

Recurring meetings

Creates recurring Zoom meetings for ongoing client relationships, scheduled check-ins, or regular consulting calls.

Setting up the integration

In your DialNexa agent workflow, add a Zoom action after the booking confirmation. You’ll configure:
  1. Zoom OAuth connection - set up once in DialNexa integrations using your Zoom account credentials
  2. Meeting type - scheduled (specific date and time) or instant (generate now)
  3. Host - which Zoom user account hosts the meeting (the assigned rep, a shared account, or the agent’s primary account)
  4. Meeting details - title template, agenda, and duration using DialNexa variables
  5. Settings - waiting room, password, recording, and other Zoom meeting settings
  6. Output variables - the Zoom join URL and host URL become DialNexa variables, available for use in follow-up emails, calendar events, or SMS messages

Workflow ideas

A customer’s issue is complex - they need to share their screen to show the problem. The DialNexa agent creates an instant Zoom meeting link and sends it to the customer via SMS: “I’m creating a Zoom link now - can you join in the next 2 minutes and share your screen with our specialist?” The specialist is Slacked with the host link simultaneously. Complex issues get resolved faster with video.
After a webinar, DialNexa calls the highest-intent attendees. For those who want to talk further, the agent books a 30-minute Zoom follow-up right there on the call - and the Zoom invite lands in their inbox before they’ve closed the webinar tab. Strike while the iron is hot.

Pairing Zoom with other integrations

  • Zoom + Google Calendar - create the Google Calendar event with the Zoom join link embedded, so the meeting appears on the attendee’s calendar with everything they need
  • Zoom + HubSpot - log the Zoom meeting creation as a HubSpot deal activity and update the deal stage to “Demo Scheduled”
  • Zoom + Salesforce - update the Salesforce Opportunity when a Zoom meeting is booked and create a Task for the rep to prepare
  • Zoom + Slack - when a Zoom meeting is created from a hot lead or escalation call, notify the rep or team in Slack with the host link and meeting details
  • Zoom + Gmail - send the prospect a confirmation email with the Zoom join link in case the calendar invite doesn’t come through

Common questions

Yes. You can configure the Zoom host based on the call routing - for example, meetings booked from enterprise calls use the enterprise AE’s Zoom account, while SMB calls use a shared team account. The host is determined by your workflow logic.
DialNexa can create Zoom webinars using the Zoom Webinars API, which requires a Zoom account with webinar licenses. This is configured separately from standard meeting creation.
Pair this with the Google Calendar integration to check availability before the Zoom meeting is created. If the slot is taken, the agent offers alternative times before creating the meeting.
